7 phone games for two, for different amounts of time

Couples games do not all need a long session or both people online. This list is organised by format, not an invented ranking. Some ideas use the free tools on this website; others use Nido.

A guide from the Nido team. The web activities are free; the app has free and Premium features.

1. A quick question

For five minutes without competing. Pick a generator question and take turns answering. If it starts a conversation, stay with it.

2. Guessing preferences

One person creates this website's free quiz and shares the link. The link contains the selected answers: share it only with someone you want to see them.

3. Comparing a challenge

Play separately, then compare results. Nido's daily challenges give you a specific goal instead of maintaining a score in chat.

4. Working as a team

For people who prefer cooperation. In Nido's adventure, finish your turn and let your partner continue; it is not a live session.

5. A mystery drawing

Pick a simple category, draw something and let your partner guess. Use paper or Nido's shared drawings.

6. A photo hunt

Choose something safe and nearby, such as something yellow or your favourite mug. Do not share locations or photograph strangers.

7. Who is more likely

Choose a question from that category and both answer before discussing it. Keep it playful rather than turning it into criticism.
